The Montauk Point Lighthouse is located at the easternmost point of Long Island and is the oldest lighthouse in New York State. This lighthouse was commissioned by George Washington, and the grassy cliffs surrounding it face the Atlantic Ocean.
Main Beach at East Hampton features an expansive beach made up of fine soft white sand with dunes and magnificent shingle homes in the background. It has been rated among the top beaches in the United States. The best time to propose here would be early in the morning.
The historic windmill at Long Wharf is one of the most recognizable symbols of Sag Harbor, a former whaling village. Surrounding the windmill, there are sailboats, the marina, and the quaint Main Street. This is an old-fashioned, cozy Hamptons environment that looks great any time of year.
The Wölffer Estate located in Sagaponack is an example of a vineyard with its rows of vines, beautiful winery, and vast landscape. You can see the whole scenery of the land, and the evening sunlight is magnificent there. The Wölffer Estate is perfect for those who want to have a glass of rosé afterward.
Coopers Beach at Southampton is a broad and beautiful ocean beach with dunes and big houses in the background. The sand is soft, and the water is a deep blue in summer. The beach is quiet in the evenings, so it is a great spot to propose privately.
